Mugen-Seiki – primul automodel de competitie electric!

Mugen-Seiki lanseaza in 2011 primul automodel electric de competitie, denumit sugestiv MBX-6 ECO.

MUGEN MRX-5: campion European on-road!

4 Iulie 2010: Robert Pietsch a devenit Campion European automodele termice on-road, pilotand noul MUGEN MRX- 5 (cu electronica radio / servo Sanwa si motorizare Novarossi) – o masina de a carui design a fost responsabil. Robert Pietsch si-a adjudecat Marele Premiu castigand Campionatul European EFRA pentru Automodele Onroad scara 1:8 desfasurat la Locorotondo, in Italia.

Luand startul din pole position pilotul german a fost in prima pozitie de la inceputul pana la sfarsitul celor 45 de minute cat a durat finala.

Majoritatea pilotilor au optat pentru o strategie de alimentare la 3,5 minute cu un schimb de pneuri la jumatatea cursei.

Numai italianul Alberto Picco a optat pentru curse de mai mult de 4 minute intre opririle la standuri, insa sansele lui la o victorie s-au spulberat cand, la jumatatea cursei, o defectiune a bujei incadescente l-a facut pe acesta sa piarda timp pretios.

Campionul Mondial en-titre Lamberto Collari a trebuit sa se multumeasca cu al treilea loc pe podium dupa ce a fost fortat sa faca o oprire neprogramata pentru a rezolva o problema a unu pneu la automodelul sau Kyosho.

In afara de Pietsch si Balestri, toti pilotii au fost fortati sa faca opriri neprogramate la standuri datorita diverselor probleme aparute.
